Recruiting international students can be an expensive, high risk task. Having a presence in overseas markets means hiring costly staff members as well as paying their ongoing travel costs in addition to local marketing activity costs such as fairs, exhibitions & agent marketing contributions. To save on costs, some institutions may opt to have in-school staff members visit key markets periodically throughout the year, not only is this also expensive, it is not cost effective as the kind of relationships required to build long lasting recruitment sources cannot be forged in a fleeting visit to market.

The Arkay Education Recruitment Consortium is designed with two key factors in mind:
By pooling resources with other institutions, Arkay Education is able to give you access to a dedicated full-time team of experienced recruitment staff members who are on the ground in key markets. They will build and foster agent relationships, attend fairs and exhibitions, visit local schools/feeder institutions, host pre-departure or direct recruitment events, as well as provide a support network for alumni or parents of existing students. All of this is available for a fraction of the cost of setting up such a team independently.
